Captain Dag to Join Seabourn

Written July 28th, 2010 | 4 Comments

We understand that Captain Dag, is now The Yachts of Seabourn’s newest Captain.

One of the most popular cruise ship captains, Dag Dvergastein has served on just about every type of ship afloat including cruise ships, cargo ships, oil tankers and grain ships.

Having been a very popular Captain with Regent Seven Seas Cruises for several years, it comes as fantastic news that he is joining The Yachts of Seabourn.

We hear that he will be sailing on the Seabourn Spirit later in 2010.

We are so pleased that Capt Dag has joined the Seabourn fleet. He is an excellent captain. We have now booked on the Seabourn Sojourn out of Rome on the 5th May,2011 fingers crossed Capt dag will be the master.
We have sailed with him a number of times and visited his home, a fantastic man.

Who knows which ship he will be on. We are on the Spirit at the end of October and are hoping that Captain Dag will be the Master then. A friend of ours recently returned from the Spirit and he was the Captain. Will let you know….

Ahoy Caption Dag. We still smile and joke about the wonderful cruise we had on the Regent when you were captain. My parents will soon be sailing with you. How lucky they are.
