Bookings for Seabourn Private Air open on Thursday (15 August) and will allow guests to travel to departure ports by private jet rather than commercial carriers.

According to Seabourn, the service will leverage a global network of operators meeting all international aviation standards and offer a range of sizes and models of private jet.

The line says it will be able to accommodate groups of any size on request, with jets capable of carrying between five and 16 passengers. Pricing will vary by itinerary and aircraft.

Chris Austin, Seabourn senior vice-president global marketing and sales, said:

“We are always seeking new ways to enhance our guest experience. Seabourn Private Air will provide a world of comforts and conveniences for Seabourn guests to or from their cruise of a lifetime.”

Seaborun’s private jet packages are in addition to guests’ cruise fare and are paid for by aircraft rather than seat.

Features include access to thousands of airports, commercial and private; valet luggage service; onboard Wi-Fi; food and drink, including caviar, champagne and complementary spirits; complementary transfers to and from home, airports and cruise ports; and next port protection of up to 1,000 miles.
